All Safe Industries donates over $4,000 in equipment to EHS Department

Steve Haise, President All Safe Industries, donates equipment to EHS Chair & EHS

At the 23rd Annual EHS Symposium held on March 27, 2018, Mr. Steve Haise, Founder and President, of All Safe Industries, presented the Environmental Health Science Department with over $4,000 worth of equipment for students to use in EHS classes.  The EHS department prides itself with providing students with opportunities to use equipment they will actually use in the field.  Hands on experience is the best experience and with recent budget cuts, updating equipment is getting much harder.  EHS equipment is expensive and the department is relying more and more on external funding and donations to keep lab equipment current.  According to Dr. Clint Pinion, Assistant Professor in the EHS Department, the donation from All Safe Industries will help his EHS 360 Air Pollution & Health class complete multiple air quality assessments across campus.  The real-world application will be incredibly beneficial as these students transition into their EHS careers.

The department is incredibly grateful to All Safe Industries for their generous donation!
